| The Milpitas Amateur Radio and Electronics Society was formed in 2000 and incorporated in 2002.
We are a 501(C) 3 Federal and State tax exempt charity. The Milpitas Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is affiliated with the National
Amateur Radio organization the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) and has been recognized as a Special Service Club since 2002.
The club will discontinue operation on Janary 1, 2008 due to lack members and elected board officals. The Milpitas Amateur Radio Emergency
Services (ARES) and the Milpitas City Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (RACES) group will continue. The RACES Radio Station at Fire Station
One will open every Saturday from 9am to noon as long as I have time. It has operated since November 20th, 2004.
